I read in the best austrian newspaper "Der Standard (The Standard)", that the SOPA bill is never destined to pass. Private Interests nearly endangered the freedom of the internet. The strike of Net Giants like Wikipedia and Google had a huge impact on the US-Government.
One thing is sure:
SOPA CAN'T pass.
Because of the pressure of popular sites and networks, pressure from other countries, like the whole European Union. Only a minority is for the bill anymore.
My first thought of SOPA was seriously:
That will never pass. It is against the basics of democracy
And it became true. SOPA is dying.

Tablet arrived... almost.
But thanks to the utter incompetence of the mailing service, they SOMEHOW did not manage to deliver it to my adress. Now I do not know where the they placed it for reception. No adress. Life always manages to piss me off.
The tablet comes next week... then what?
When the Cintiq arrives, and I start making digital art on par if not beyond my traditional work... then what? I have severe stage fright, and have a tendency to collapse under pressure. When I start taking commissions, the pressure is on. Payment is usually upfront, and therefore expectations need to be met. I draw because I love it. When my hobby becomes a source of stress, that's a problem. So, am I going to do commissions to bolster my income, but run the risk of burnout for drawing? The future never seemed as uncertain as now.

My Dilemma.
As you can cleary see in my gallery, I am a blatant macrophile. I am well aware of this fetish being beyond unrealistic, so I use art to express it. But in this new society of social justice, where the smallest out of color tick can stigmatize you? It is hard to keep on drawing these things without a certain degree of fear.
Often, when I draw these pictures of mine, I ask myself: Why am I doing this? Why do you chase after this?
